Psych), a practicing member of the Australian Counselling Association and the founder of Therapy Garden. I work exclusively with expats, immigrants and internationals. My interest in Mental Health stems from my personal experience caring for loved ones with mental illness, moving to a new country in the midst of the pandemic, and navigating the demands of the corporate world for nearly 10 years. Group therapy modality: For these groups, I use a combination of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and regular client-centered therapy. I am keen on using therapies that are science-backed and supportive: those that equip you with skills to manage your mental health, as well as enable you to feel heard. Next steps: 1. Register by clicking 'Book Now' on this page. 2. I will schedule a 15 minute pre-group call to discuss your suitability for the group, and answer any questions you may have. 3. Choose to make the payment for 8 sessions in one go or for 4 sessions at a time (in 2 installments), and join the Zoom link shared. Why commit to 8 weeks at a time? Group therapy is most helpful when there is a good rapport between members and this takes time to develop. Also, the success of a group depends on the commitment and participation of its members. A commitment to at least 8 sessions makes the group a stable and reliable place for you. After each 8 week cycle, there will be a chance for members to leave (if they want to) and new members to enter. Maximum number of members per group: 6 (First come first serve) Looking forward to seeing you there.
